The theme of AFAC24, "Embracing Innovation and Disruption: Designing the Future for Our Sector," focuses on today’s critical challenges, including resource constraints, declining volunteer numbers, and the growing impact of climate change. AFAC24 features a comprehensive program, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions, providing a platform to share knowledge, discuss new strategies, and showcase innovations that can significantly enhance emergency response.
VideoTranslatorAI’s Participation: AFAC24 Pitchfest and Panel Discussion
We are honoured to have been selected to participate in the AFAC24 Pitchfest, an exciting competition in which companies pitch their most innovative and practical solutions to pressing challenges in emergency management. VideoTranslatorAI will present our AI-powered translation tool, which is designed to ensure the effective delivery of critical warnings and emergency information to CALD communities.
In addition to the Pitchfest, we are excited to share that VideoTranslatorAI has been invited by the Office of NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer (OCSE) to join a panel discussion on the research and innovation day of AFAC24, scheduled for September 3rd. This panel will delve into government-industry collaboration, innovation, challenges, and experience in the emergency services or hazard management industry.
