Consent and session controls
Choose when to begin processing, how to follow the conversation and what to share afterwards. These controls are part of the personal app's everyday conversation flow.

Choose whether to start processing
Before interpretation or summary preparation, review the app's AI-processing information. It explains the audio and text sent to the services needed for transcription, translation, summaries and optional translated voice.
You can leave processing permission off and still use account controls or view saved results. Allowing processing is separate from allowing microphone or camera access in your browser or device. A conversation needs the appropriate device permissions as well as the app permission before capture can begin.
Let other participants know that conversation text will be saved before starting. Audio and video are not recorded.
Control the conversation
Choose the conversation languages and text view that fit the session. In video calls, participants have their own spoken and reading-language settings. Optional voiceover can be used where supported.
Pause capture when you need a break and resume when ready. Check the session status after an interruption; do not assume capture continued while the app was hidden or disconnected. End the session when you finish so you can return to its saved text.
In Account → Privacy and data, you can withdraw AI-processing permission on the device. This stops capture there and asks again before new processing. Work already sent may finish; withdrawing permission does not delete saved results.
Choose what to share
Review the transcript or prepared summary before selecting a download, copy or email action. Check the document language and intended recipient. Ending a conversation does not automatically distribute its results.
The host holds saved video-call results. Keep invitation links private, and discuss any later sharing with the participants. Copies already shared outside the account cannot be recalled by deleting the original.
Learn about your data
See Privacy and your data for saved text and account controls, or read the privacy policy for processing and retention details.
Open the app to review your settings and begin when you are ready.
FAQs
View all FAQsCan I use my account without allowing AI processing?
You can view saved results and use account controls with processing permission off. Interpretation and preparing a summary require permission.
Is microphone access the same as processing permission?
No. The browser or device controls microphone access separately from the app’s processing permission.
What does withdrawing permission do?
It stops capture on that device and asks again before new AI processing. Work already sent may finish, and saved results are not deleted by withdrawing permission.
