User Permissions & Roles
A user in the VideoTranslator App can serve as either a meeting moderator or a standard user, each with distinct access levels. Moderators are granted advanced permissions, allowing them to manage key meeting functions such as starting and ending sessions, controlling participant access, muting attendees, and managing meeting settings translation options. On the other hand, standard users have access to basic features, including creating or joining meetings and utilising text translation tools. Their role focuses primarily on interacting within meetings and using the app’s core translation services.
