Create a broadcast meeting

A broadcast meeting is a one-way video streaming feature where a user can broadcast a video with multilingual translation support. Viewers can join by clicking the link with their preferred language to receive translated content, but they cannot interact or converse with the broadcaster. The translation is delivered as subtitles and optional text-to-speech, enabling global audiences to understand the broadcast.

Here is how you can create a broadcast meeting:

Step 1: On the home page, click Create Meeting.

Step 2: Select ‘Broadcast’ and choose a meeting mode. Manual mode requires you to toggle the translation button, which increases the translation accuracy. Continuous mode automatically translates the conversation without having to toggle the translation button. 

Then fill in all required fields, especially those marked with an asterisk (*). In the transcription dialect box, select the AI you want to use to transcribe the speaker’s words. Pick the AI you prefer for translating the transcribed text in the translation dialect box. This is particularly crucial for languages such as Chinese.

Step 3: If you need to add multiple moderators or participants, click the 'Add Moderator' or 'Add Participant' button on the page's right side.

Step 4: Once all the required fields are filled, click Submit.

Step 5: When the meeting is successfully created, it will appear on your home page as follows:
