A glossary enforces consistent terminology by mapping specific source terms to your preferred targets, while prompt control lets you guide tone, style and context in AI outputs. Both tools can be applied independently or together across speech and text workflows to align translations with your brand and domain requirements.

In speech translation (in-person, video call or broadcast modes), assigned glossaries are applied automatically during transcription and translation. The system replaces any source terms with your predefined targets, ensuring industry-specific or brand terminology remains consistent across live captions and voiceovers.

Yes. You can combine glossaries with prompt control in any translation workflow to enforce terminology while guiding tone and style. Simply assign your glossary and include prompt instructions in the same job or meeting settings—this ensures your translations are both consistent and aligned with your brand voice.

You can create a custom glossary from the Linguist page. Select the Glossaries tab, click Add Glossary, then define your glossary name, source and target languages and upload or enter term pairs. Once saved, assign the glossary to your meeting or translation job to enforce those term mappings in real time.

Prompt Control lets you adjust the AI’s output by specifying instructions on tone, formality, or purpose. In text translation workflows, you enter prompt instructions alongside your content or template, and the AI uses these cues to produce translations that match your desired style. This feature helps maintain the right voice for marketing copy, technical documents, or other specialised content. This feature will be available soon.
