Patch Notes: September 2019

It’s been a busy month for us so far. There’s a lot of new and exciting features we’re still developing so watch this space! In the meantime, there are a couple of updates and patches to tell you about.

Embedding Captions

Previously, to embed captions onto your video it was possible to do so from the captions tab. This tab is now only used to make edits to the captions. To embed captions, it is now done by using the Audio Overlay tab. There you’ll find the + button as highlighted in the below picture, which will allow you to embed the captions.

Picture in Picture

A feature we’re quite excited about, picture in picture is now available to use with the video player. This allows you to make real time edits to the captions and simultaneously see how those edits look on the video.

Working Symbol

Previously, it was hard to tell when the app was working and making changes to your video. We’ve now added a spinning hourglass to show when your file is being worked on.

New Dialects Added

We’re proud to announce another six dialects have been added! From now on you can add the following dialects to your videos:

English:

Norwegian Bokmål:

• Norway

Swahili:

• Tanzania

Tamil:

• Singapore
• Sri Lanka
• Malaysia
