We were honoured to attend and support the NSSN Women in Sensing Summit 2025 as the host of the vibrant network reception held on May 15.
It was an incredible day dedicated to celebrating and amplifying women’s voices, leadership, and innovations across sensing technologies and research.
A heartfelt thank you to the NSW Smart Sensing Network (NSSN) for curating such an inspiring and impactful event. The energy, ideas, and connection sparked throughout the day were a powerful reminder of what happens when diverse minds come together with a shared purpose.
We’d especially like to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of Ayu Saraswati, PhD, the Digital and Artificial Intelligence Theme Lead at NSSN; Dr Jill Freyne, the Deputy Board Chair of NSSN; and Nicholas Haskins, the Chief Operating Officer of NSSN. Your leadership and commitment were key to making the summit such a success. Thank you for championing equity and innovation in the sensing community.
The conversation we had during the summit and our hosted networking reception were insightful, empowering, and forward-thinking. From pioneering research to emerging commercial applications, the breadth of knowledge shared was truly inspiring.
