Vimeo is a free video editing app from the creators of Vimeo, the online video sharing platform.
The app claims that it will allow users to trim, cut, merge, reorder, add filters and spice it up with music, text and stickers.
What We Will Be Judging
In this article, we will be judging how good Vimeo Create is at:
- Trimming and cutting video clips
- Adding video/image overlays
- Applying filters, effects, and masks on videos
- Adding texts
- Adding music/audio
We picked these 5 items as they are the basic attributes of short video editing.
First Impression of Vimeo Create
However, with our test, it does not seem that Vimeo is able to do the things mentioned above. The subscription structure is confusing and the app is hard to use.
